What to Expect
Our meetings start at 10:30 AM every Sunday at 120 Milner Avenue. We share a premises with Ambleside School of Hout Bay, where we meet in their school hall. If you’re visiting for the first time, we’d recommend coming a few minutes earlier. There will be people at the doors who will be more than willing to assist you with any aspect of your visit.
Parking
We offer secure parking on the sports field, which is straight down Worcester Street into Milner Avenue. The hall is wheelchair accessible from all sides, and our parking attendants will be more than happy to assist you should you need.
Prayer meeting
We gather together at 10:00 AM just before the main meeting in the coffee shop to pray regarding the meeting together. If you’re joining us for the first time, please feel free to come pray with us as well.
Kids
Whatever age your young ones may be, there are multiple facilities for moms and trained workers who are always ready to assist in taking care of your young ones.
For all nursing moms we have a private room where you can feed your baby in private and still hear the message.
There is a creche situated outside the hall in a room attached to an outside play area, please feel free to leave your toddler/s with our trained child carers for the duration of the meeting.
Arrows, which is our children’s ministry for 4-11 year-olds, is situated in classrooms outside the hall. Arrows starts congruently with our 10:30AM meeting, meaning that the young ones will go out to their own time of worship and age appropriate activities and teachings all under the supervision of our trustworthy team. There will be people at the entrances ready to show you or take your young ones through to the classroom.
For 12-14 year olds, our ‘Follow Me’ group which consists of leaders from our youth ministry, Front Row, looks to engage with some the most common questions regarding the Christian faith to both provide those who are still exploring the Christian faith with reasonable answers and to encourage young Christians to engage their friends with the Gospel. Our Main Meeting
Our Sunday meetings start at 10:30 AM with a time of music and singing (we call it worship), followed by announcements and a message from the Bible. We then continue with some worship in response to the message followed by communion and prayer for one another. A typical service finishes around 11:45 AM.
